Indian River County Engineering
MMT performed a comprehensive right of way and topographic survey of 69th Street and Old Dixie Highway for engineering design of intersection improvements in May, 2015. This survey was completed on time and within the project cost estimate. The survey consisted of establishing horizontal and vertical control, determination of existing right of ways and property lines and the location and elevation of all improvements, visible utilities and drainage features. The total length of the project was approximately 1.8 miles and was completed within the budget and time schedules provided. The scope of work was typical for this type of project and included the establishment of control, right of way and location of all visible improvements. In addition, MMT completed a limited topographic survey in November 2014 for the proposed West Wabasso Sewer Project, Phase 2 to assist in the design of gravity sewer in this area.
Indian River County Solid Waste Management
For the past seven years, MMT has been contracted by Camp, Dresser & McKee to perform a topographic survey using aerial photography and planimetrics in support of volumetric calculations of the Indian River County Landfill site. MMT was responsible for the verification of aerial photo identifiable targets used as a basis for the photogrammetry work. Our sub-consultant, Pickett and Associates, Inc. was used to obtain the aerial photography and planimetric data. Subsequently, we conducted a series of calculations to determine the net increase in volume of debris at the landfill and create cross sections comparing the current and past years. MMT was additionally responsible for providing all deliverables to the client as required.
